The Artist

Born in Finland and drawn to the stage from a young age, Pipsa blends contemporary circus and emotion into her own performance language.

A graduate of SaSaK Lahti Circus School, she began her professional career touring with Sirkus Finlandia. Developing her signature style of foot juggling, Pipsa explored antipodism, experimenting with basketballs and a car tyre. She later continued her training with the Raw Art project in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Since then, her journey has taken her across Europe and Oceania, leading to a Cirque du Soleil award for Innovative Artistic Vision and Performance, as well as a collaboration with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra in Switzerland.

Working between the Arctic Circle and international stages, Pipsa finds inspiration in nature, dance, physical theatre, modern art, and the rhythm of the world around her. Recognised for her magnetic stage presence, she carefully composes every movement, sound, and visual element in her performance into an act where technique and musicality are inseparable.

Following the road less travelled, Pipsa approaches her work with both fierce determination and playfulness. Deeply curious and emotionally driven, her conviction and passion shine through in her art. The stage has always been her happy place, a space where expression, humour, and human connection come together to create moments that stay with an audience long after the performance has ended.
